“You don’t measure love in time. You measure love in transformation. Sometimes the longest connections yield very little growth, while the briefest of encounters change everything. The heart doesn’t wear a watch – it’s timeless. It doesn’t care how long you know someone. It doesn’t care if you had a 40 year anniversary if there is no juice in the connection. What the heart cares about is resonance. Resonance that opens it, resonance that enlivens it, resonance that calls it home. And when it finds it, the transformation begins…”
Beautiful lines by Jeff Brown and something which drove the essence of the poem below .
Why does Love feel like an un-solved complicated story
Why do honest efforts only get you deeper into mystery
Is there future in any relation
When love bridge is not the intention
When the brain does not see the presence
Why does heart expect the resonance
Why do everyone say give it time
When nothing seem to fall in line
If days do pass with every minute spent,
Does time really add value to the relation built,
When heart expected the wings of love
Why doesnt the brain see the beautiful dove
Why does the brain shout “its enough”
But the heart says to mask sadness with laugh
Why cant i possibly go to a distant place,
Where I am not presented with this nasty lace,
Do we know when to say good bye
If yes why does it always feel like bunch of lie
Why does it feel to be covered by masked faces
Only hoping atleast some are not marked by poison laces
Seem to be back to my age old question.
Can I be the child again,
With nothing to think ,
Can I be free again.
