While self-awareness and self-care are crucial, it’s also important to balance them with empathy and consideration for others. A healthy “me-centered” approach involves recognizing self worth while also respecting the perspectives and boundaries of those around you. The challenge as I see the world today the former part of the statement (self worth) is all that remains and the latter (respect perspective of others and boundaries) has all but vanishing ( may be it has to do with everyone trying to run fast … forgetting what we are running for )
So a couple of lines that I could think of
In the realm of “me,”
It is only my self .. that I see,
It is a universe within my mind
Is it a journey self that I have designed ?I am the center, the star so bright,
In my world, I shine with might.
In the tapestry of life’s grand design,
I’m but a thread, among many, entwined. So let “me” be the start, not the end,
In unity, our strength let me extend.
In the dance of life, let love decree,
Beyond “me” let us all be “we”.So let “me” dissolve into the whole,
In empathy’s embrace, find my soul.
For in the embrace of unity,
Lies the essence of true beauty.
