Today marks a decade of me moving to a new city , a new country with lots of dreams , lots of anxiety , not being sure of which trumped the other . As a decade finished in this country lots of changed but one thing is constant , there is something in this city which did keep me rooted to this city for a decade ( probably the longest of anywhere I stayed in the 46 years of my life) .

In the city of bridges, gray and rain,A decade’s tale unfolds, a vibrant refrain.From wonderful breweries to coffee shops buzzing with creative sparks,To the greens whispering in the misty parks.
Bicycles and breweries, a culture alive,Where weirdness and artistry beautifully thrive.Music notes dancing in the Oregon air,As the city’s soul weaves tales everywhere.
Portland, a decade richer in memories true,Here’s to the next, with adventures anew.Hoping again for the lots of goodiesWith experience of the last decade as my “birdies”.
