Dear Ma,
It’s been five Mother’s Days without you
Five springs that bloomed without your view.
Yet every petal, every breeze,
Still carries whispers meant to ease.I sat today, pen in hand,
But tears fell first though not as planned.
The words came slow, like evening light,
Soft, uncertain, not quite right. You weren’t just a mother you were my sun,
My teacher, anchor, only one.
In every lesson, every scar,
You showed me love in who we are.You fed the hungry, healed the hurt,
Loved all equally with no pride and no dirt.
You lived your truth so loud, so clear,
I still can feel your presence near.Though my arms can’t hold you tight,
Your love surrounds me every night.
And even now, as years go by,
You live in every breath, each sigh.So on this day, I look above,
And send you all my endless love.
For five long years, I’ve missed you so
But Ma, your light will always glow.Happy Mother’s Day Ma up above the sky where you are , away from the challenges of the world , away from the hatred of the world but your love and your teachings still standing strong , still inspiring all your students including me .
